La música del padre Antonio Soler ha permanecido olvidada en la biblioteca de El Escorial hasta que fue re-descubierta en el siglo XX. Tuvo la mala suerte de ser contemporáneo de Domenico Scarlatti, viéndose eclipsado por el genio del artista italiano. Los Seis conciertos para dos órganos fueron escritos para entretenimiento del infante don Gabriel, hijo del rey Carlos III y son un claro exponente de la escuela española de clavecinistas barrocos. Estos conciertos pueden ser interpretados indistintamente por órgano y/o clavecín. En la presente versión se utilizan ambos recursos.
The music by Father Antonio Soler has been forgotten in the library of El Escorial until it was rediscovered in the twentieth century. He had the misfortune of being contemporary of Domenico Scarlatti, being eclipsed by the genius of the Italian artist. The Six concerts for two organs were written for the entertainment of the Infant Don Gabriel, son of King Charles III and are a clear example of the Spanish school of Baroque harpsichord. These concerts can be interpreted either by organ and / or harpsichord. Both resources are used in this version.
