A mediados de los años 1950 el sello La Voz de Su Amo inició la publicación de una serie de discos en formato EP dedicados a la ópera, seleccionado en cada uno de ellos las partes más populares de estas grandes obras. Este disco es uno de ellos, recogiendo los coros y partes musicales más famosas de la ópera “Aida” de Giuseppe Verdi. La versión es de Tulio Serafin, un gran especialista, dirigiendo el Coro y la Orquesta del Teatro de La Scala de Milán.
By the middle of the 1950s the His Master’s Voice label initiated the edition of a series of EP disks devoted to the opera, selecting for each one the most popular parts of those great works. This is one of those disks, containing the most famous choruses and musical parts of Giuseppe Verdi’s “Aida”. The performance is by Tulio Serafin, a great specialist, conducting the Choir and Orchestra of the Theatre Alla Scala di Milano.
