Decía un gran amigo mío, Andrés Carreres, flauta solista de la Orquesta Nacional de España, que en la historia de la técnica del instrumento había dos épocas: antes y después de Jean Pierre Rampal. Un buen ejemplo es este disco en el que este fabuloso flautista interpreta obras de distintos momentos del Barroco y del Clasicismo a través de la música de Sweelinck, Albinoni, Rameau, Anglés y Grétry.
